The other week I got a nice surprise in the mail. It was a print copy of a short story I illustrated for Scholastic Canada, it was regarding water pollution and it's effect on seagulls. Here is a sample.
It was fun to do a project with Scholastic again and the art director, Noel Upfeild, is always a pleasure to work with. I was happy with how this one came out but it does make me want to experiment some more with my rendering style. Drawing something of this size and detail brings to light things that can go unnoticed with smaller illustrations.
Let mw know what you think.
